Joanna
SALON OWNER
Jo has been the proud owner of Options Hairdressing for 6 years, however, has been in the industry for over 35 years. Both of her parents were Hairdressers /Salon Owner’s, so it wasn’t a surprise having grown up in Hair salons that she followed in their footsteps, starting as a 16-year-old apprentice. After qualifying and working in salons for a number of years her career path altered slightly but still in the industry that she loves, spending over 20 years working for Schwarzkopf Professional as the European Business Education Manager, supporting Salon Owners develop their business knowledge, team management and business growth. Jo works closely with her management team but is also extremely hands on within the business.
Libby
SALON MANAGER
Libby has been with Options since leaving school. As well as being the salon manager, she specialises in all things relating to colour, her experience and knowledge in unrivalled, her ability to interpret, guide and recommend client’s needs and wants makes Libby a much sought after member of the team. Libby has been an Aveda colour specialist for over 15 years, so for those clients looking for a more natural based colour, Libby can advise clients achieve the optimum colour results.
Libby is available every Wednesday, Friday, alternative Saturdays & one Thursday a month
Nicola
EXECUTIVE STYLIST
Nicola has been with Options for over 20 years and in the industry for over 30 years. She specialises in cutting both Ladies & Gents, her precision & classic cutting and her attention to detail is truly amazing. As well as being an incredibly confident and talented Hairdresser, her customer care and 1-2-1 client attention has made her one of the salons most sought after stylists with her clients booking numerous appointments ahead as she rarely has last minute appointments available.
Nicola is available Tuesday- Friday and every other Saturday
Charlie
ADVANCED STYLIST
Charlie has joined the Options Team bringing a wealth of experience , not only in Hair but also Fashion and Make-Up, having studied Fashion Illustration at the prestigious London College of Fashion. She is also a fully qualified Make- Up artist and regularly uses these skills working on Fashion Shoots and Weddings.
Charlie specialising in both Cutting and Colouring . Her attention to detail and her exceptional vision, eye for colour and shapes and natural flair ensures that all of her clients leave the salon looking and feeling amazing. Anyone looking for a complete colour correction or love the bright vivid colour shades , Charlie is your "Go to Stylist". As well as being a super talented Hairdresser, her attention to detail regarding her customer service and care is second to none.
Charlie is available to book in the salon Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays , Fridays & Saturdays
Beverley
CREATIVE STYLIST
Beverley has been in the Hairdressing industry for almost 20 years and loves all things creative, she has a great eye for detail which she demonstrates in both her colouring and cutting, she feels that no one’s ever knows everything and continues to enhance her skills through education, having completed her colour masters degree with the highest level of pass in her year.
Beverley has relocated back to salon life in Chelmsford following a few years in the “burbs”, her attention to detail and customer care has made her one of our most requested stylists
Beverley is available, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday
Lacey
NEW TALENT STYLIST
Lacey has been with Options for almost a year and has continued to grow and excel developing her Hairdressing skills . She is already a extremely loyal client base with clients block booking for their weekly blow-dries, she has also become the go to stylist for all of our younger clients who want that salon experience but want to feel comfortable with a stylist that they can relate to. Ava
APPRENTICE
We are delighted to welcome Ava to the Options Team as a 1st year apprentice. Ava is just starting her hairdressing journey having left school in June 2023. From a very young age Ava has dreamed of being a Hairdresser and is already showing a passion for all things relating to hair. Her attention to detail, wiliness to help and client care has quickly made her a firm favourite with our clients and team
